2. What data do we collect and why?
ARqueo is designed with privacy by design.
- Camera: The application requests camera access exclusively for the operation of Augmented Reality (ARCore/ARKit) and pattern recognition (Image Tracking). Camera images are processed locally on the user’s device in real time and are NEVER recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
- Location (GPS): We request location access on an ad hoc basis to calculate the distance between the user and archaeological sites. This information is processed locally to organize the catalog. We do not keep a record of your movements or send your continuous location to third parties.
- Local Storage: The app saves downloaded 3D models and data to your device’s internal memory to allow offline use.
- Usage/Purchase Data: Anonymous purchase identifiers are managed by Apple/Google to determine which ruins you are entitled to download.
3. Cookie Policy (For the Website)
This website uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to measure traffic. You can configure your browser to block them, although some parts of the website may not function correctly.
4. User Rights (ARCO Rights)
As a user, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to the processing of your personal data by sending an email to info@apercloud.es.
